I used to use the cheaper v2 model, which is very nice for light and the easy standard songs, but I experienced some GhostStepping, which prevented me from really shining ^^

This mat however! Is absolutely amazing, the foam is much harder and in my opinion more comfortable to dance on. It is also more responsive and does not slide as easily as the cheaper models.

Finally, I have not experienced it ghost stepping even once. I'm in love and will probably order more, for me and my friends :)

Note: I've never used metal dance pads and as such cannot compare this mat to those, I have however cleared 8-9 foot songs in stepmania on this one and it is alot better than other softmats I've tried.
