Following recommendation for support I shook it and works now.
But, if it was possible to fold the mat in a different way to avoid the creases, it owuld be better. Maybe sent it rolled, instead. (Posted on 14/10/2008)
- I used to use the cheaper v2 model Review by Jacob Korsgaard

This mat however! Is absolutely amazing, the foam is much harder and in my opinion more comfortable to dance on. It is also more responsive and does not slide as easily as the cheaper models.
Finally, I have not experienced it ghost stepping even once. I'm in love and will probably order more, for me and my friends :)
Note: I've never used metal dance pads and as such cannot compare this mat to those, I have however cleared 8-9 foot songs in stepmania on this one and it is alot better than other softmats I've tried.

- I ve chosen the Deluxe Dance Pad v3 because it has gotten great reviews on serveral dancing community websites. So far Review by Thomas Bazler

If there's one drawback to the pad it's the fact that it has an awful plastic smell for the first couple of weeks. I would assume it's advisable to air it well until the worst of it is gone. This is also the only reason I'm rating this pad 4/5 instead of 5/5. (Posted on 06/03/2008)

It all started with a PS2 Dance Dance Revolution Dansmat (via Super Dual Box Pro), this pad got bad quite quickly (due to intensive use), after about three months it started to miss steps ocasionally.
Then I bought a 3in1 Deluxe DDR Ignition Dance Pad v2 (for PS/PS2/XB/PC USB). This one played very nice, but after about six months of play the pad started to lose it's edge (foam got soft on some spots, it's response wasn't as crisp as it used to be).
By then, a little over a year ago, I bought the Deluxe Dance Pad v3 (Special FMAX Edition). The most expensive softpad available, but most certainly worth every cent! After a year of playing the foam is still in top condition, the response is superb (with both flat-foot as toe-only playing style)! By now my 3in1 Deluxe DDR Ignition Dance Pad v2 has gotten a bit worse, so recently I've obtained my second Deluxe Dance Pad v3 (Special FMAX Edition).
I absolutely recommend this pad!

They seem to be robust, indeed my father who weights about 110 kg used the mat without any problems found afterward. :)
Compatibility:
Working well on Windows XP.
But you have to plug and unplug the mat 3 times for the first use on one computer.
This mat isn't recognized by Windows 2000 ! So it doesn't work on Windows 2000. (Posted on 05/07/2007)
- I have had a number of dancemats before this one. They have all gone bad after a while. This one have a thick foam insert that makes it more durable and also more comfortable to dance on. I am using Review by Mathias Lillback

- Dit is een mat die perfect is voor beginners en gevorderde spelers. Ik heb hem nu ongeveer een maand en ik heb nog steeds geen enkel probleem ondervonden met ghost steps of sticky arrows. Het enige Review by Randy Thiemann

This is a perfect pad for beginners and somewhat advanced players. After having it for aproximately one month I find that it doesn't have any sticky arrows or ghost steps. The only con I can think of is that is has to be cleaned multiple times during a day, but this can be done quite easyly with a swiffer and vinyl cleaner (also used for water beds). This pad moves a little but it isn't necessary to move it back more than once per 5 songs which is no big problem because it is not heavy. As for the packaging: it comes in a big white undamaged box and is, just like any other pad, very easy to assemble. You get 6 pieces of foam which must be slot together, then you just put this large piece of foam in the mat and zip it closed.

Uiteindelijk vind ik dit een zeer goede mat voor zowel beginners als gevorderden: 5/5
In the end I can only say this is a superb pad for both beginners and advanced players: 5/5 (Posted on 15/08/2006)
