Really good dancingpad, works like a charm. Only downside is that the arrowpads is a bit to low so if you get to close the edges without wearing shoes you'll hit your toes quite hard. So the first thing I did was to mod the pad so the arrowpads is now about 3mm higher than original, you still feel the height diff but my toes is feeling alot better now. (Posted on 19/03/2008)

Our pad was shipped the 23th december, in short time !
Thank to FutureMax for the response and fast delay, the pad is a very good response for all DDR players. The pad is a bit damaged after the shipping, but i can even play with it and the sensors are perfect.

Not too long ago after after recieving my dancemat I put it to the test and thought I'd write a review in hope to give back some of what you have given to me; a brilliant dancemat, though I'm not sure if it got onto the website or not. Therefor I'm writing another review. On recieving the dancemat, I put it together without instructions (they weren't supplied) I didn't mind as much though it would of been helpful to have some. I noticed there were tears and rips in the foam of the dance mat bar and several dents and scratches on the arrows of the dance mat itself. There were no pins for the connection ports but luckily i had some to spare. I ignored all this in hope that it was going to be a good dance mat and yes it is. But now I'm very displeased, putting all the other issues aside i continued to play with the dance mat and not complain but now the welding on the support for the dance mat bar has broken. This has made it very unstable and pretty much un-usuable. I don't use the bar often, only on the occasion to test how quick my feet are, but a few weeks into it and it being already broken is severely displeasing. I have e-mailed FutureMax about this and I am yet to recieve a reply so my doubts are very high. It seems to becoming abit of a joke and I would hate to know whats coming next. Yes the dancemat is brilliant but I'm not sure about the service, I would advise asking for kind of warranty or return offer before you buy this dance mat.
For all this I'm sorry to say that it only gets a rating of 3, even though this dance mat shouldn't recieve any ratings below 5.

This is a great product. I dance every day with the metal pad and never had any problem.
It's way better than Ignition's pads... The difference is impressive.
With this pad, and some training, I can make from 2 to 3 levels more difficult songs !

I've had this dance pad for a few weeks now. It's great! The arrows are only pressed when I acctually stand on it! yaay! I've had alot of cheaper plastic mats that started to press themselves when they felt like it, which totally ruined gameplay. After throwing away five of those I decided to buy a real dance pad. So I chose this one. It totally matches up to my expectations and I hope it will work forever!! :-) (Posted on 18/08/2007)

I'm very pleased with this pad. The precision is really great, and it allows me to play 10's and elevens on In The Groove, which my plastic pad didn't let me.

A bothering thing is though, that the delay in the button presses are as high as 60ms! That is even noticeable by eye. But the problem is solved when you sync it in In The Groove. Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this in Stepmania. (Posted on 20/07/2007)

Reviewing TX6500-v2 Special FMAX.
Info: I bought this pad about a month ago when I got it (After about 5 days) I immidiately plugged it in and tryed out some stages. This pad was really sturdy and barely moves around atall, atleast not noticable. Thanks to the recessed arrows I could easily feel where they were and gain a better score. When I first bought this pad I could barely pass a four footer but now after 1 month I can do almost all the 10 footers and maybe 1 or 2 11's and 12's Which is a great improvement _3 this pad. The cencors is actually really great and havn't failed me a single time yet not even on 10 footers like Max 300 and LoM. It works good with or without shoes, Allthough when it comes to ITG songs when you have you use your hands it can be quite hard to press down the steel cause it's so hard and you sometimes have to smack it real hard which kinda hurts, you could fix this by changing the arrows to plexi glass but only do this if you know what you're doing so you don't break it. The bar is still working well I usually put a table or something heavy behind it to prevent it from wobbling as much.

I've also tried the pad Cobalt Flux which is said to be a great pad which it really is... But I actually I like this pad more it gives a better feeling than the Flux. And the censors might not be really that sensitive but they always react when I put my foot on it which is good to me ^.^. Concidering the huge price difference between the CF and the TX6500 I'd like to say I'd rather get the TX than the CF.... I mean it's really stabile and the cencors has never done anything bad and it's really fast responding.

Conclusion: Low price, Sturdy, Fast responsive, Recessed arrows , They ought to improve the sensitivity of the arrows or change to a thick laiyer of plexiglass to help the ITG players with their "hand moves".

this dancepad is just amazing great
in the first place it looks like it not quality but if you have one you can't believe how strong and good they are

they are verry good because of the lower arrows and a great sensitivity
